The G5-01NC's 55×107mm welding lens gives you a solid view of your weld pool, with Speedglas True-View technology offering exceptional optical clarity. The flip-up grinding visor (170×104mm) gives you a wide, clear view for when you’re not welding (grinding, marking up jobs, walking around the worksite, etc) or you can remove the welding lens component entirely to reduce the weight for tasks like this by 35%. It has a 6-point adjustable head harness, much more comfortable than a standard welding helmet or hard-hat head harness.
The Adflo PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) delivers a consistent 170 L/min of filtered air as standard, up to 200 L/min if necessary. The standard battery provides up to 8 hours of runtime (depending on conditions) and the rapid charger only takes one hour to charge the battery to 80%.
The Speedglas G5-01NC is fully compliant with AS/NZS standards for eye protection (1338.1), high impact face protection (1337.1), and respiratory protection (1716).
