This is the Versaflo M-307 clear visor with built in safety helmet, combined with the 3M Adflo PAPR respirator with P3 filter.
The M-307 is built for a range of industrial work that requires high impact protection, a clear wide field of view and air fed respiratory protection.
The filters are changeable and this unit comes with the Adflo PAPR battery and battery charger.
This is the standard battery option which provides 8 hours battery life under normal conditions, instead of the heavy duty 12 hours.
The PAPR has a RMPF (required minimum protection factor) of 50, meaning that the air provided through the respirator is a minimum of 50 times cleaner than the unfiltered air around it. But in recent testing, the Adflo PAPR was found to be substantially more effective, reducing welding fume by 99.96%.*

The 3M Versaflo M-307 is a clear visor and integrated safety helmet combined with the 3M Adflo PAPR respirator - designed for industrial workers who need high-impact head and face protection, a wide unobstructed field of view, and powered air respiratory protection, but who are not welding. Typical users include tunnel workers, spray painters, woodworkers, farmers, and anyone working in environments with silica dust, welding fume, or other airborne particle hazards. Unlike a welding helmet, it uses a clear visor rather than an auto-darkening lens, making it suited to tasks where full visibility and respiratory protection is required at all times.
No. Like all Adflo PAPR-based systems, the Versaflo M-307 does not require fit testing and can be used with a full beard. This is because the system provides powered positive-pressure air supply into the helmet rather than relying on a complete air seal. The Adflo PAPR has a Required Minimum Protection Factor (RMPF) of 50, meaning the air supplied is at minimum 50 times cleaner than the surrounding environment, and in independent testing, the Adflo reduced welding fume exposure by up to 99.96%, which far exceeds the minimum standard.
Several accessories are available to extend the functionality and protect the M-307. Packs of clear tear-off visor covers are recommended to protect the visor from scratches during heavy use. An optional mining lamp bracket can be attached to the top of the helmet for use in low-light environments such as underground tunnels. Replacement Adflo filters are available separately as ongoing consumables - the P3 filter supplied with the M-307 is suitable for silica dust and welding fume. The standard M-307 comes with an 8-hour battery; a heavy-duty 12-hour battery variant is also available as an option for longer shifts.
