The Versaflo face shield M-207 is suitable for applications requiring combined respiratory and face protection. The M-307 comes with the Adflo powered air respirator and provides P2 respiratory protection.

*If you're buying this Versaflo M-207 visor with Adflo PAPR, we strongly recommend buying a pack of clear peel offs to minimise scratches to the clear visor.

I have been using a 3M Airstream helmet for over 20 years. It did the job, but it was terribly fiddly. For example, changing the air filters was always a pain. I love the battery pack/filter combo. on this system The belt feels overbuilt, but I may not think that after I have been using it longer. It certainly is robust. I like the two-speed air supply - I work in the sub-tropics and in summer I need the extra flow. I am a professional woodturner with 40 years experience and without this protection I would not be able to function. I have acquired wood allergies and the small particulate from sanding is deadly for the lungs, so that's the main reason why I need this helmet. I also need physical protection from fragments that can fly off the lathe and that is also good with this helmet. The improvements over the Airstream that I notice are increased/wider visibility; better protection for my neck with the sleeve covering more of my throat; lighter helmet because the motor is on the belt; better balance on my head; improved fittings in the helmet harness; quieter, and probably more that I can't think of now. I won't know about ordering and changing parts until I have worn it much longer, but it looks more straightforward.
